Quickstart

Creating your first article in Contentpen takes just a few steps. This guide shows you how to set up your workspace, review your brand and audience details, and generate your first article from the dashboard.

Step 1: Sign up and create your Workspace

Before creating any content, you’ll need to set up your account and workspace. This helps Contentpen understand your website, brand, and content goals.

1. Create your account

Start by heading over to Contentpen.ai and signing up using your email address.

  • Enter your email and account details

  • Verify it using the 2FA code sent to you

  • Set up your account

Once you’re logged in, Contentpen will automatically guide you through onboarding.

2. Set up your Workspace

You need to set up your workspace by providing your business name, URL, and basic information that the AI agent uses to understand your brand and generate articles accordingly. 

Step 2: Create your article

1. Start article creation

From your dashboard, click the Create Article button in the top-right corner.

Then choose Generate article with AI.

2. Fill in article details

Contentpen collects article details in a few simple steps.

Basics

  • Primary keyword

  • Topic (use the AI suggest icon if needed)

  • Secondary keywords (AI suggestions available)

  • Preset selection (optional)

When you select a preset during article creation, Contentpen automatically fills in:

Style– language, target country, tone of voice, audience, and point of view

Formatting – text emphasis, lists, tables, quotes, and heading styles

Structure– article size, introduction style, and extra sections

Media – featured and in-article image preferences

Linking – internal and external linking rules

Click Next to go to the final step.

3. Generate the article

Click on "Create" to start the article generation. You can still review or adjust any field before generating the article.

  • You can stay on the screen or close it

  • You’ll receive a notification once the article is ready

  • The article will also appear in your planner list view

From there, you can:

  • SEO optimize it
